WhatsApp Template Not Showing in ZazzyAgent? 8 Things to Check
You've created a WhatsApp template, Meta approved it, but the template isn't appearing in ZazzyAgent.
This can be frustrating because the template may look correct inside Meta while your ZazzyAgent template list doesn't show it yet.
Work through these checks in order.
1. Confirm the template is actually approved
Start with the most basic check.
Open your WhatsApp template management area and confirm that the template has an approved status.
Don't assume that submission means approval.
A template can remain pending or be rejected.
2. Check the WhatsApp account
Make sure you're looking at the same WhatsApp Business account where the template was created.
Businesses sometimes have multiple WABAs or WhatsApp numbers.
A template associated with one WhatsApp account won't necessarily appear under another.
3. Sync the WhatsApp templates
After changes in Meta, synchronize the template information in ZazzyAgent when the sync option is available.
This is especially useful after:
Creating a new template
Changing templates
Receiving approval
Updating your Meta configuration
4. Check the template language
Templates can be associated with specific languages/locales.
Make sure the language you're looking for is the language that was created and approved.
5. Check the template name
Use the exact approved template.
If you have many similar names, make sure you're not looking for an old version.
A useful naming system can help:
order_confirmation
order_shipped
appointment_reminder
cart_recovery
6. Check the template category
The template category is part of the Meta template configuration.
If you're building a particular workflow, make sure you're using the appropriate approved template.
7. Check whether the template is available for the feature
A template may exist but not appear where you're trying to use it because the current feature has additional configuration or eligibility requirements.
For example, check the message type you're building and whether it expects an approved template.
8. Refresh after synchronization
After synchronizing template information, refresh the relevant ZazzyAgent page.
Then check the template list again.
Template is approved but still missing
Use this checklist:
[ ] Template approved
[ ] Correct WABA
[ ] Correct WhatsApp number
[ ] Correct language
[ ] Correct template name
[ ] Template synchronized
[ ] Page refreshed
If all of these are correct and the template still isn't available, review the template's status and your WhatsApp connection.
What if the template was rejected?
A rejected template won't become available simply because it was synchronized.
Read the rejection reason provided by Meta.
Then revise the template according to the reason before submitting again.
What if the template was recently created?
New templates may need time to move through Meta's review and synchronization process.
Don't immediately assume the template failed.
Check its status first.
What if the old version appears but the new version doesn't?
Start by checking whether the new version is actually approved.
Then synchronize the WhatsApp template information again.
Also make sure you're using the correct template name and language.
Don't create duplicate templates unnecessarily
If you're troubleshooting a missing template, creating five more copies usually makes the problem harder to diagnose.
First determine:
Is the original template approved?
Is it under the correct WhatsApp account?
Has the latest template information been synchronized?
Then take the next step.
